Clamp or suction cup / vacuum lifting?

How the clamp revolutionises the way glass sheets are moved

A suction cup or a system incorporating suction cups is normally used to move glass sheets throughout the various processing stages.
In glass processing laboratories, the sheets are normally stored in special sorters, where they are lined up side by side.

In order to limit the size of the sorters, the sheets have to be kept as close to each other as possible.

A collateral effect of close storage is that the sheets are hard to pick up using regular suction cups / vacuum lifting because of the smaller working area.

In this case, it is essential to use clamps that can grasp the sheet on the upper edge, and move the sheet from the sorter to the work area, operating in the tight spaces associated with storage but at the same time making it possible to process even large, heavy glass sheets.

MG engineers and produces clamps for moving different types of flat glass sheets to satisfy almost all professional needs.
